The Fund for Shared Insight is a collaborative effort among the Rita Allen Foundation and other foundations to bring greater responsiveness and effectiveness to philanthropy. Shared Insight will provide more than $5 million per year over three years in grants to nonprofit organizations working to develop tools, knowledge and leadership in the area of philanthropic openness and responsiveness. Shared Insight is cochaired by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and the Ford Foundation. Other founding funders include the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, The JPB Foundation, Liquidnet, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
