Civic Science Fellow Michelle Amazeen published an article in Human Communication Research outlining a new framework for developing a multidisciplinary understanding of recognition and response to misinformation. The model incorporates consideration of individual characteristics, processes to recognize misinformation, and different coping strategies that affect outcomes.
